Ever needed a place to relax while you let the kids run free? Vitra’s Play Centre can cater to all your needs all day everyday with their enjoyable facilities made just for your children. Through our easy to navigate building, you’ll be reassured that your kids are in a safe and secure environment.

The theme and shape of the building was inspired by Frank Gehry’s ‘Vitra Design Museum’ and ‘Walt Disney Concert Hall’. The two buildings listed had a unique and engaging style that accompanied the creation of this building and its crazy sense of shape and character. The structure and design of the building works well with the fact that it’s a children’s play centre with its offset walls and levels.

The navigation of the building is easy and straight forward providing your children with a secure building that is easy to follow. The main source of navigation is the set of stairs located at the side of the building, which can be accessed as soon as you enter the building. Also, for a little bit of fun, your children will experience the thrill of moving to the first floor via a spiral slide located at the back of the building in the outdoor play ground area.

One of the facilities featured in Vitra’s Play Centre is that of the sandbox. Equipped with buckets, shovels and other sand toys, it’s somewhere that your children can have fun and engage with others with the same interest and ages. This area of the building is placed beside the stairway of the building as soon as you reach the second floor and is hidden in one of the corners to produce a safe and clean space.

The other designed feature in the play centre is that of the ballroom located on the first floor. There are two main entrances to this area; one from the slide and the other from the parent’s cafe’. The slide is the fun way of entering the room, working its way from the outdoor play ground on the second floor in a spiral motion, and landing amongst the hundreds of plastic balls located in the room. The exit of this room is primarily though the cafe’ stairs, and re-entry to the slide is possible through the side stairs available at the side of the building.

In a definite manner, Vitra’s Play Centre has a facility that provides for the parents and their relaxation. Located on the first floor is the registration room and cafe’. As you come to enter the building you will be met with registration room, which is where you sign your child in for the day and pay the fees. Beside this you will come across the cafe’ that allows you to sit back and relax as your children enjoy their time and fun with other children.

So why not give it a go and come by one day to experience the great things we have in store for you and your kids. For details visit our website: www.vitraplay.com.au, or come by and pick up one of our brochures and speak to our very friendly staff for fee enquiries.
